Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Where she studied Art and Design. After her education
she travelled around the world. In 1998 she joined the
family business of Interior design and began her
Apprenticeship with her mother as a 3rd generation
designer. In 2007 she opened a Martha de Groot
European Design showroom in Port Washington, New
York. She has done Residential as well as
commercial projects in the US as well as Europe.
Her main motto is :' Design is the art of living.'

Els de Groot began her apprenticeship with the
founder of Martha de Groot at an early age as a
second generation designer. With her background in
fabrics and design she has created fascinating and
elegant aesthetics. Els does mostly residential work
with the exception of creating showrooms for design
company's. She works mainly in the Netherlands and
the South of France.

Lucia Vernooy studied under several Dutch Interior
Designers in and around Utrecht and Amsterdam. Her
main aspect is modern design and integrating
modern into a traditional environment. She works
solely in the Netherlands. She has extensive
knowledge of Dutch contemporary Art and Italian
Design. Her main motto is:'Add a piece of Design and
you will add pure Art to your home.'

the Fine Arts. For many years she had her own interior
antique company in the Netherlands. Before she
